What it is
Skin Gourmet Raw Shea Butter is 100% pure Butyrospermum parkii, raw and unrefined, absolutely nothing else added. Our shea nuts are gathered from the wild and processed by women in Northern Ghana, then kneaded by hand for a minimum of 40 minutes to create a butter that feels truly rich, smooth, and alive on the skin.
We partner with MyDream.org, an NGO dedicated to positively impacting the community of Bognaayili through improved shea butter processing and other community-support activities.

How it’s made
Wild nuts gathered, then traditionally processed and kneaded by hand by women in Northern Ghana. Handmade in Ghana, raw and unrefined.
Tip
Best when used on damp or slightly wet skin, that’s how you get maximum absorption and that plush, moisturised finish. This blend contains no preservatives, so use a preserving spoon if you can. If you insist on being handsy, stick it in the fridge. Store in a cool, dry place away from water and keep it closed when not in use. If it melts because it’s that pure, just shake it and refrigerate for about an hour.
