What it is
Skin Gourmet Ghana Clay Mask is 100% pure termite clay, ant mound clay, absolutely nothing else added. It’s harvested from nutrient-rich soil in Northern Ghana and prepared as a simple, powerful clay mask that helps reset your skin when it feels congested, oily, or dull.
Why it works (the “how,” not hype)
Detoxifying feel: clay naturally binds to oil and impurities on the skin’s surface, helping lift buildup so skin feels cleaner after rinsing.
Exfoliating and smoothing: as it dries, it creates a gentle refining effect that can help improve the look of texture when used consistently.
Tightens the look of pores: you’ll often notice a firmer, more “pulled together” look right after use, especially in the T-zone.
Breakout-prone support: by reducing excess oil and surface congestion, clay masks can support a clearer-looking complexion over time.
How it can be for all skin types, honestly
All skin types can use this; you just adjust contact time and frequency. Oily and combination skin can use it more often. Dry or sensitive skin should use a thinner layer and rinse a bit earlier.

Tip
Each batch can vary in colour because we harvest the mounds sustainably, and that means we do not harvest a mound more than twice a year. Also, this product does not expire, keep it dry and it will last.

How To Use
Add 2 to 3 teaspoons into a bowl, drizzle in water, mix well, then let it sit for a few minutes to activate, it’s versatile.
Apply to clean face, body, or hair, avoiding the eye area, then leave for 10 to 15 minutes or until dry, it’s versatile.
Rinse thoroughly, then moisturize with one of our oils or butters, it’s versatile.
Use 2 to 3 times a week, and adjust based on how your skin feels, it’s versatile.
Upgrade it by substituting water with one of our toners for a more targeted mask, it’s versatile.
Foaming mud-mask upgrade: mix the clay with Skin Gourmet liquid black soap until you get a smooth, muddy texture. Apply like a mask, let it sit, then wet your hands and massage in circular motions to get a gentle foam before rinsing off. Clay + black soap is a powerful cleanse-and-mask combo, it’s versatile.
Tip for storage
Keep closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place away from water.
