It’s sourced from the Eastern Region of Ghana and produced sustainably by an all-female cooperative. Palm kernel vs palm oil, quick clarity
A lot of people hear “palm” and assume it’s all the same. It’s not.
Palm oil comes from the fleshy outer part of the fruit (the pulp).
Palm kernel butter/oil comes from the kernel inside the hard nut, the seed at the center.
That kernel is where this butter comes from, and that’s why it has its own distinct richness and that familiar Ghanaian scent that makes you pause and smile.

Tip
Best when used on damp or slightly wet skin. Because this is a real butter, it can firm up in cooler temperatures, warm a small amount between your palms before applying. In very warm temperatures it may soften, if it melts, pop it in the fridge to reset.

Tip for storage
Keep closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place away from water. Refrigerate for long life. If it melts because it’s so pure, shake it and stick it in the fridge for about an hour, it’s versatile.
