Gourmet Oil (EXTERNAL USE ONLY)
What it is
Skin Gourmet Gourmet Oil is a carefully balanced blend of five oils selected for how they perform on real skin and real hair: wild shea oil, pure castor oil, wild baobab oil, pure moringa seed oil, and ylang ylang flower oil, absolutely nothing else added. It’s built to be the one bottle you reach for daily, a body oil, massage oil, hair oil, and beard oil that supports lasting softness, comfortable hydration, and a natural-looking glow without a complicated routine.
The finishing touch is the ylang ylang, it gives the blend that fresh, floral, “just flowering” scent people remember.
Why it works for skin and hair (the “how,” not hype)
Wild baobab oil is a standout for skin that wants to look smoother and more even. Research on baobab seed oil use supports its role in improving key skin parameters like hydration, elasticity, and reducing transepidermal water loss, which is part of why skin can look more supple and refined over time.
Moringa seed oil is an anti-aging heavyweight because it is naturally rich in antioxidants like alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E) and plant sterols, and it has been studied in topical formulations for supporting hydration and overall skin condition. Think of it as nourishment plus antioxidant support in one.
Castor oil brings structure, grip, and deep comfort. Its main fatty acid, ricinoleic acid, has documented anti-inflammatory activity, and castor oil is widely used topically as an occlusive moisturiser to help reduce dryness and support the skin barrier, and it’s also why it performs so well on hair and beards that need softness and staying power.
Wild shea oil gives the blend its “cushion,” it is naturally rich in fatty acids that support softness and comfort, especially on dry skin.
Ylang ylang rounds everything out with a beautiful floral aroma and a sensorial finish that makes the routine feel intentional.
How it can be for all skin types, honestly
This blend works across skin types because you control the dose and placement. Dry skin can use more for comfort and glow, while oily or combination skin can use a smaller amount focused on drier zones. The key is technique: oils absorb best when applied to slightly damp skin, so you get hydration plus nourishment, not shine sitting on top.
How it’s made
Handmade in Ghana with a minimalist recipe, no fillers, no silicones, no preservatives, no mystery ingredients, just pure oils blended with intention.
Tip
If you want this oil to absorb faster, apply it to damp skin, right after bathing or after misting skin with a little water. That one move changes everything, it helps the oil lock in moisture and sink in more smoothly. In cooler temperatures this oil may become thicker and lighter in colour because it’s that pure, just warm the bottle between your hands, or refrigerate for long life and consistency.
Your skin go clap for you!
