What it is
Skin Gourmet Cocoa & Shea Butter is a rich, two-butter blend made with raw cocoa butter and raw shea butter, absolutely nothing else added. It’s the best of both worlds: cocoa butter for that protective, long-lasting “sealed-in” moisture, and shea butter for softness, comfort, and that plush, nourished feel. It works as a daily moisturizer for face, body, and hair, and yes, it’s edible too.
Why it works (the “how,” not hype)
Raw cocoa butter is excellent at sealing in moisture. It supports the skin barrier, helps reduce dryness and rough texture, and keeps skin feeling comfortable for longer, especially in cold weather or harmattan-type dryness.
Raw shea butter is rich in fatty acids and naturally occurring vitamins that support softness and calm, making it a go-to for dry, sensitive-feeling skin and rough patches.
Together, cocoa + shea create a balanced butter that hydrates, protects, and leaves a smooth, healthy-looking glow without needing any fillers.
How it can be for all skin types, honestly
All skin types can use it; you just adjust the amount. Dry skin can apply more freely. Oily and combination skin may prefer it on targeted areas or as a night butter.

Because this butter is cocoa-rich, it behaves like real cocoa butter behaves. In cooler temperatures it can feel very firm, scoop a small amount and warm it between your palms before applying. In warmer temperatures it may soften or melt, if that happens, stick it in the fridge to reset. If you live in a colder country, keeping it in a slightly warmer spot like a bathroom or kitchen helps it stay easy to use. If you’re in a warm climate like Ghana, you’re already in the sweet spot.
