What makes black soap “black soap”<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Real African black soap starts with plant ash. Ours uses cocoa pod ash, the burnt husks of the cocoa pod, which gives the soap its natural alkaline base. That base is what lifts away oil, sweat, sunscreen, and a day’s worth of buildup. Coconut and palm kernel oil bring the lather, the part that makes it feel like it’s actually cleaning. Wild northern honey softens the whole thing so the cleanse doesn’t feel harsh. No synthetic surfactants, no hardening agents, no fragrance oils.
