  1. Start with dry skin and dry hands. Don’t wet your face first. The oil needs to bind to the makeup, and water gets in the way.<\/li>\n
  2. Scoop a small amount. If it’s firm, it’ll melt in a second between your fingertips. In cooler weather coconut oil goes solid and pale, which is normal for a pure oil with nothing added.<\/li>\n
  3. Massage it over your face in slow circles. Give it ten to twenty seconds on the eyes to break down mascara and liner. No rubbing hard.<\/li>\n
  4. Wipe away gently with a soft cloth or a cotton pad. You’ll see the makeup lift off.<\/li>\n
  5. Cleanse as normal. Follow with your usual face wash so you don’t leave a film behind. This second step matters, especially for the eyes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
